If you need help paying for your housing, **file an application for rental assistance** with the state (the Residential Assistance for Families in Transition (RAFT) program). There is both emergency and long-term help available.
Anyone (citizen, resident, or undocumented) can apply if they owe rent, mortgage, or utilities. You can also apply for rental assistance more than once!
